2020 Literature and Medicine at the Department of Health and Social Services, Department of Health and Social Services Library, Wednesday, 15. April 2020

Join Delaware Humanities and the Department of Health and Social Services Library for Literature and Medicine.  Based on the award-winning program started by Maine Humanities, Literature and Medicine is a group that meets once a month for 90 minutes to discuss a piece of literature related to medicine.  No knowledge of medicine required, just an enjoyment of reading and thought-provoking discussions!
Enrollment is for all six (6) sessions.  Single session enrollment is not allowed.  The sessions take place on Wednesdays from 12 PM to 1:30 PM.  The class dates are as follows:
Wednesday, April 15Wednesday, May 20Wednesday, June 17Wednesday, July 15Wednesday, August 19Wednesday, September 16
The enrollment fee ($35) includes the six 90 minute discussion led by a trained faciliator, a curated set of readings for the discussions (usually excerpts from fiction and non-fiction works), two books, and snacks.
