2020 Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Conference
Register now for the 2020 Idaho Patient Safety and Quality Improvement conference on May 12th-13th, 2020 at the Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho.
Dan Diamond, MD is our keynote speaker on day 1. With extensive experience leading boots-on-the-ground medical teams in response to natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrine, the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and Typhoon Yolanda, Dr. Diamond is passionate about equipping teams to thrive under pressure. In his keynote address titled “Burned Out or Fired Up? Changing Healthcare Culture from the Inside Out” Diamond takes the burn-out conversation beyond systems issues and external forces, and instead focuses on mindset as a catalyst for lasting resilience.
Idaho State University Vice President of Health Sciences, Tony Seikel, Ph.D. is our keynote speaker on day 2. In “Mind Games: Meeting the Challenge of Burnout through Mindfulness Meditation” participants will learn to identify daily life risk factors of burnout as they arise and apply techniques to reduce their effects. Participants will also come away with a greater understanding of the growing body of neurophysiological evidence that supports mindfulness practices.
Following day 1 activities, a networking reception will be held for all participants.  Light appetizers will be served, and one free drink ticket will be provided with registration. Please RSVP by adding a "Networking Reception" ticket to your order.
