3 amazing days of engagement and education for anyone that works with Pacific Islanders in and around Violence Prevention, Education, Healing and Research. CEU credits are available.

Would you like to learn more about Pacific Island cultural norms and history that support healthy living? How do you incorporate Pacific Island cultural relevance in your work?

The Conference opens Thursday October 8, 2020 with "PowHER & Unity" hosted by the EmpowHERment Support Groups & the Pacific Island Women in Business. Thursday evening your conference badge admits you to Notes by EmpowHERed Divas. Music & Spoken word by EmpowHERed Pacific Islanders.

Friday is a day of skill building for all grass roots and start ups in any sector, do not have to work in Violence Prevention to participate. Organizers will have the opportunity to gain tools around starting a community non profit, operations, programming, funding, and apply them through out the day and even pitch to funders and get feedback.

Saturday back by popular demand is cultural expert Herewini Jones from New Zealand who will be leaving us with tangible tools and skills for culturally relevant methods that have proven positive impact. We will have community panels of religious, law enforcement to have real talk to uplift and promote healthy life balance to thrive.

The Conference closes Saturday night with the annual KAVA Talks Dinner & Silent Auction. We will hear Hero stories, Keynote Speaker is Herewini Jones with comments from the LDS Church.

Conference costs includes daily breakfast, lunch and evening snacks and a seat at the annual KAVA Talks Dinner & Silent Auction.
