A Rip in the Sky and Mending the Moon, The People's Building, Thursday, 07. March 2019

Evolving Doors Dance collaborates with musician/composer, Amy Shelley, and writers Serena Chopra, Ian Dougherty, and Steph Holmbo to premiere A Rip in the Sky and Mending the Moon.  This rendering of remnants comes together with dance, original music, poetry, and theatre to bring the audience into a woven world of images and interactions, exploring the experiences of tearing, fraying, and unraveling; only to question how we approach the curious and sometimes unfathomable task of mending.
Thursday and Friday night performances will be followed by a short Talk Back for audience, performers and collaborators.

Dancers:  Serena Chopra, Arielle Dykstra, Meg Gibbs, Sheila Klein, and Angie Simmons
Actors: Drew Hirschboeck, Steph Holmbo, and Jenna Moll Reyes
Poets/Writers:  Serena Chopra, Ian Dougherty, and Steph Holmbo
Composer/Musician:  Amy Shelley
Choreographer:  Angie Simmons
Lighting Designer:  Jess Buttery
