Acme invites you to join us for an Active Shooter Training class, open to all downtown employees. Please join us in our 3rd floor event space on Wednesday, September 18th.
Space is limited, please RSVP.
Active Shooter Training: AGAPE’s Active Shooter training program is based on the national standard provided by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, “Run, Hide, Fight”, but with a twist. This 2-3 hour program allows participants to practice this plan in real time. Participants will be able to recognize the sound of gunfire (blank rounds) inside their facility and will learn skills to deal with an active shooter threat which include: how and where to run, how and with what to fight, and how and where to hide. This is an interactive program where the participants will fight back against the active shooter.
Ken Alexandrow - founder of AGAPE Tactical, retired after 26 years serving the citizens of middle Tennessee as a career police officer. In 1991 Mr. Alexandrow graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in Political Science.  Mr. Alexandrow began his career as a patrol officer and was appointed to the Metro Nashville Police Academy as a confrontation management and firearms instructor.  Throughout his career in law enforcement, Officer Alexandrow served on several elite units as well as volunteered for various special assignments including the opportunity to serve on the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force. He concluded his career as a Field Training Officer where he had the opportunity to supervise and train new police officers on how to apply their academy knowledge to real life situations on the street.
