Whether you are currently using propane autogas, have considered it before, or are a service provider, Alliance AutoGas is offering a free clinic to teach the basics of an autogas vehicle and its maintenance. To earn the level 1 and 2 certifications, you must attend all days. EVENT SCHEDULE: DAY 1 – November 10 8:30AM- Registration (Contact Information and Enrollment into Techpoints Program) 9:00 AM – Welcome and Introduction- Phil Points, Technical Service Manager, Alliance AutoGas 9:15AM-10:30- Principles and Propane Safety – Mike Smith, Lead Trainer, Alliance AutoGas 10:30-10:45- Break 10:45-12:00- How An Autogas Vehicle Works- Components and Operation of a Bifuel Autogas Vehicle 12:00-1:00- Lunch Break 1:00-1:30- Prins Diagnostic Tool Login and Usage (Technicians, please bring your laptop and connection cables if you have one) 1:30-1:45- Break 1:45-4:30- Preventative Maintenance and Annual Service for Autogas Vehicles Hands-on training performing annual maintenance service including filter changes, calibration verification, and required annual auto shut off operation. 4:30-5:00- Knowledge Review and Certificate Presentation DAY 2 – November 11 9:00-10:00- Component Overview Reducer tear down and rebuild- How does it work? 10:00-10:15 Break 10:15-12:00- Service Clinic Demonstration/ Training vehicle will be on site or feel free to bring any Alliance AutoGas / Prins autogas vehicle for hands-on diagnosis 12:00 – Lunch Break 1:00-2:30 – Advanced Diagnostics Practical Focus and Software 2:30-2:45 Break 2:45-3:30 – Software verification. 3:30-5:00 – Diagnosis and Understanding Trouble Codes DAY 3 – November 12 9:00-10:00 – Log Files and Graphing 10:00-10:15 – Break 10:00-11:30 – Understanding Line Charts and Review 11:30-12:00 – Knowledge Review and Certification Presentation
