Aperture: What the F/Stop?!, Johnson PhotoImaging, Tuesday, 05. February 2019

Aperture: noun (a) the opening in a photographic lens that admits the light.
In this class, we will be examining one element of the exposure triangle. We will begin with a classroom presentation that will explain how we can use aperture to control depth of field, or to control more or less light through the lens.
Following, students will have the opportunity to test their understanding of concepts by experimenting with aperture in the studio.
Students should bring an interchangeable lens camera - either a D-SLR or mirrorless. Please be sure to fully charge your camera's battery. Bring a memory card you don't mind formatting and a way to take notes.
