Course Description: This course provides participants the time and opportunity to explore external student support strategies that can help student performance within their classrooms as well as instructional strategies that provide a strong foundation for student learning. In collaboration with colleagues across disciplines and departments, we will form communities of practice to navigate the changes introduced by AB705 and provide our students with learning environments that address their specific needs and ensure their success.
Communities of practice will be formed around ONE text.  Members will be invited to work collaboratively to design, implement and evaluate transformational strategies that directly address an issue in their classroom, campus or community.  You must be an AFT Guild member in good standing to enroll.
