Ask the Expert: Legal Advice for Businesses In collaboration with the City of Toronto and Cobalt Lawyers – the official small business law training firm for the City of Toronto – DealPrep is proud to present our new «Ask the Expert: Legal Advice for Businesses» workshop! This workshop will focus on Shareholders’ Agreements. Details In this workshop, participants are presented with a case study about establishing a shareholders agreement with their team of founders and employees, and how they plan on leaving room for more shareholders in the future. Participants are taught key insights into shareholder agreements, management rights, preemptive rights and equity vesting through the use of innovative, online contract drafting and learning tools. About our hands-on workshop series: We believe there’s no better way to learn than by asking questions, thinking about what you’re signing, arguing and negotiating. This is a hands-on workshop, where participants can interact with the hosts and each other by asking and answering questions, and participating in case study-based negotiation scenarios. Participants are also able to sign up for one on one sessions with our trainer lawyers during the session.
