Learn to use AutoCAD software in a hands-on course taught by an expert in the field. AutoCAD is one of the most used commercial Computer-aided design and drafting software today. Knowing how to operate AutoCAD will allow one to create and modify drawings in two and three dimensions. Though most may not realize it, AutoCAD is integrated into almost all aspects of life. It is used by Architects, Engineers, construction, manufacturing and retail professionals. There is always a need for CAD technicians and designers, this class will introduce you to what is possible with the program.
This course is meant for a beginner. As such, typical course includes, how to setup drawings using standards and templates. How to draw basic objects and incorporating the use of blocks into a drawing. Also, how to properly set up a drawing to print to a specific scale, in color and in a PDF format for easy distribution and use. Future classes will be geared towards a more experienced learner.
