Babymoon: Preparing for Baby and Postpartum

ba·by·moon (ˈbābēˌmo͞on/) noun informal 1. a period of time following the birth of a baby during which the new parents can focus on establishing a bond with their child.  “a babymoon is regarded as a crucial time for a family to establish itself” Designed to help you navigate the postpartum, this is 4.5 hour class is taken prenatally, ideally between 30-35 weeks. We will cover postpartum planning and support; changing identity, roles and relationships; infant/breast/chest feeding; infant needs, cues and soothing techniques; sleep scenarios; and more! The cost is $65 per couple; single parents are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or support person included in the fee as well! If you are taking childbirth classes, you do not need to be finished with them to attend. And now for the fine print…Because our classes often sell out, we do not offer refunds or transfers for non-medical reasons, so please be sure you can attend the session you register for! If you choose to register for session one after 37 weeks of pregnancy, there are no refunds if your baby arrives beforehand.
