Bach in the Brewery - Piano, Monument City Brewing Company, Saturday, 02. May 2020

A classical music concert you'll actually enjoy!

Bach in the Brewery is an innovative concert series by Baltimore School of Music combining classical music and craft beer. Each concert will feature classical music along with "beer breaks", where you can chat with friends, grab a beer, and have a great time without feeling like you're stuck in your seat.

Join Baltimore School of Music and host James Lowe for a concert featuring a variety of solo piano music performed by Carter McMullen and Dr. Jonathan Graybill.

Is Monument City Brewing Company open to the public during the concerts?

We will have the brewery all to ourselves! Only those with tickets will be allowed into the brewery as it's closed to the public.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, this concert is 21 and over.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Drive, Bike, Walk, Uber, Scooter, anyway you like. Monument City Brewing Company has a large off-street parking behind the brewer. It doesn't get easier than that!

Can I find a concert program to make sure I like the music?

It sounds like you need a beer. Just sit back and enjoy the music, this isn't a typical classical music concert.

Can I reserve seats?

This concert is open seating and will feature a relaxed environment including a mix of bar stools, tables, and folding chairs. The music will be amplified, so you'll be able to hear the music from all areas of the brewery.

Can we talk during the music?

We're relaxed, but it's still a concert, so please be respectful and do not talk during the performances. Silently looking at Instagram because you're addicted is cool, though.

When can I arrive at Monumenty City?

We will open the doors at 7:30pm sharp. The brewery is closed to the public and we have sound check and setup before then.

Can I Bring My Doggo to the concert?

Only if it can howl Mahler 5.
