Overview
The University of Delaware will host a three day intensive Bookworms K-5 Reading and Writing institute. This professional learning event, led by the program author Dr. Sharon Walpole and her team of coaches at the Professional Development Center for Educators, is open to teachers, administrators, and coaches with varying levels of experience using the Bookworms curriculum. The training will feature panel sessions, grade-level breakout sessions, lunches, and networking breaks and collaboration opportunities.
Details
The institute will be held at the Clayton Hall Conference Center, located on the University of Delaware's campus in Newark, DE. On-site parking is complimentary. The University is conveniently located along the I-95 corridor, within an hour of the Philadelphia Airport, and just miles away from the Newark Amtrak Station. 
Room blocks have been arranged at two local hotels: the Courtyard by Marriott Newark-University of Delaware and SpringHill Suites Newark. Room rates range from $142-$165 per night.
