Cash In Hand: The EITC Effect On The Inland Region , Riverside Art Museum, Monday, 24. June 2019

Join us for this informative lunch session where we will explore the rippels of poverty relief from the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) in the Inland Region. Research shows children belonging to a family of EITC earners are shown to be positively impacted in their ***** lives. Communities are uplifted by families and individuals who recieve the EITC stimulating the local economy. Since 2015 the California EITC grew from only 400,000 families being eligibile across the state to only four years later our state EITC provides financial support to over 2 million families and growing. A heavy-hitter in the headlines recently, the California EITC has recieved much noterity for its potential to expand to a $1.2 billion dollar program in our state. 
We will hear from a panel of leaders forging the path in our region on an ever growing demand of an IRS sponsored program the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and the potential this program can have in driving EITC claims.
