Say goodbye to your microwaves, toasters, and conventional ovens and join us at Connecticut Landmarks’ Nathan Hale Homestead for an intermediate class on hearth cooking.
Gather in our historic working kitchen for this hands-on workshop. Explore the different tools and techniques used to cook over an open fire, including Dutch oven cooking, a hanging pot, cooking skillets, and a tin kitchen.
Cost is $25 per person, $20 for CTL Members, which includes a keepsake recipe book of hearth meals. Reservations required as space is limited.
