Citizenship Clinic in Lowell, Pollard Memorial Library, Saturday, 30. March 2019

Becoming a U.S. citizen is one of the most important and valuable things an immigrant can do – which is why promoting naturalization and helping people apply is a key part of MIRA’s mission.
At our monthly clinics, we guide applicants through the naturalization form, step by step, and let them know if they qualify for a waiver of federal fees. People sign up in advance (usually 30–50), and MIRA’s Citizenship Team, supported by volunteers, go through the process with each applicant, one-on-one.
The clinics include three stations: 1) check-in and registration; 2) completing the application; and 3) quality control.
Note that this clinic is in Lowell. If you live in the Boston area but want to join us, we may be able to arrange a ride for you; please note in the sign-up form if you need or can provide a ride!
Important: If you’ve never volunteered at one of our clinics before, or haven’t done it for a long time, we’ll need you to get some training upfront; please arrive at 8:45am to be trained! There is NO separate registration for this training. If you HAVE been trained, please arrive at 10:00am. PLEASE be on time!
If you are a client, please call (617) 350-5480, x200 and leave a message. We’ll call you back!
