Comfort Measures: Coping Skills for Labor Virtual Class

Comfort Measures: Coping Skills for Labor Virtual Class

About this Event

This is a *virtual* class. You will receive a Zoom meeting link 24 hours before your scheduled class.

Virtual classes are offered in collaboration with Vanderbilt Health.

NOTE: If you are enrolled in The Birth Journey series, you should *not* register separately for this class. The material is covered as a part of The Birth Journey.

This interactive, hands-on class is designed to build your toolbox of techniques to reduce labor pain and cope with discomfort in each stage of labor. You’ll have an opportunity to practice both relaxation and active birthing methods, and to adapt these to labor at home, in the birth center, or in a hospital setting. The full Birth Journey series goes much more in-depth on this topic, but Comfort Measures is a great refresher for people who have already given birth, or a supplemental class for those who want more practice.
