About this Event

Learn to feed yourself positive energy that enhances wellness through mindful art making.

Art making can be a wonderful meditative and mindfulness practice. Each session will take place on Zoom (for this 5 session cycle). We will engage in a short mindfulness practice and then each week explore a different activity that fosters wellness through art. Art methods will encourage developing intuitive, meditative, spontaneous creative processes that are play centered not technique centered. Great for people with little art experience or seasoned artists that want to try to break beyond elements and principles of art. Tap into the inner essence of you and feed your soul with art making!


A supply list will be provided prior to the start of class but generally include watercolor paints (any type), mark making materials (pens, colored pencils, charcoal, markers), acrylic paints (any type and color), stamps or stamping materials like bubble wrap, business cards and bottle tops and ink of your choice, mixed media or watercolor paper (hot or cold press 140 lb ), adhesive, scissors, collage items and papers, muslin or burlap, embroidery thread and needle, an embroidery hoop.

Individual self care, wellness, and therapeutic art coaching is also available through the organization.

There are several start dates for the 5 sessions. The session dates are as follows:

September 13th - October 11th

November 29th - December 20th (4 sessions only due to the holidays)
