Dedication of the Child Abuse Awareness Field, Exchange Club of Pearland Child Abuse Awareness Field, Thursday, 01. April 2021
Open to everyone in the community.Please join us as we dedicate our Child Abuse Awareness Field. The Exchange Club of Pearland installs a pinwheel field in front of the Macy's at Pearland Town Center for the month of April. April is the Prevention of Child Abuse Month. Each pinwheel represents 1 confirmed case of child abuse in Brazoria County for 2019. Sadly we also have crosses representing each confirmed death at the hand of child abuse. REMEMBER these are only those that have been reported and confirmed.We will gather at the field at 3:00 PM for a short ceremony.
