Once you are ready to make your presentation, you have studied your prospective donors and discovered more about what compels them to become engaged in your cause. This knowledge will help you develop and tailor your presentation for each of your prospective donors based on how their needs and goals align with your organization’s cause. This workshop will give you specific techniques that will allow donors to see the benefits of becoming committed supporters of your organization. Your presentation should build on the connection and rapport you have already begun to establish. Learn how to convey to the donor that forming a partnership with your organization helps them achieve one of more of their philanthropic objectives.
In this workshop, we will dive into Chapter 11 of Cause Selling the Sanford Way: A Guide to Relationship-Driven Fundraising to achieve the following:
• Explore why individual-to-individual fundraising matters now more than ever.
• Learn how to properly plan for your next donor presentation.
• Discover how to build units of conviction for use in your presentations.
