Gingerbread Vs Pumpkin Spice/ Filet Vs Pork Tenderloin, US, Thursday, 22. March 2018

As the weather begins to turn towards spring the Taproom is here to bring you one more barrel aged beer pairing but this time with some savory dishes! We will be answering the timeless question of what do people prefer, pumpkin or gingerbread spice? To help us do so we will be pairing 2 barrel aged pumpkin beers and 2 barrel aged gingerbread beers with both filet and pork tenderloin! The pairing will go as such:

Two Roads Roadsmary's Other Baby (Rum barrel pumpkin ale) paired with roast pork tenderloin with an apple cinnamon butter served on a grilled crostini with pumpkin rum sauce.

Wicked Weeds Xibalba (bourbon barrel pumpkin ale) paired with grilled filet mignon with an apple serrano slaw served on a grilled crostini with a caramel bourbon sauce.

Hardywood Bourbon Barrel gingerbread Stout paired with a java char rubbed filet mignon finished with a vanilla bourbon sauce and served on a grilled crostini.

Hardywood Rum Barrel gingerbread Stout paired with a roast pork medallion with an apple ginger chutney and served on a grilled crostini with a spiced rum sauce.
