GRASP (Grief Recovery After Substance Passing), Kennesaw State University -University Village, Thursday, 20. June 2019

GRASP, (Grief Recovery Afater a Substance Passing) is a support group created to be a source of help, compassion and, most of all, understanding for families who have had a loved one die through drug use.
Other grief groups may assist when a child, spouse or other loved one has died from an accident, *******, or terminal illness.  However, there is little help available for those who have lost a loved one through the disease of addiction/substance use disorder or the misuse of drugs. In most cases, death by subtance passing carries a negative stigma that makes the grief journey even more difficult.
GRASP is for all who have had loved ones slip away and to ease the pain in any way for those who are left behind to cope.
