Add a hand-crafted touch to your holiday cards through the art of printmaking. Join local artist Alexandra Iosub for a fun, creative tutorial-style printmaking workshop focused on the creation of customized holiday cards and a printmaking block that you can use again and again. Alexandra will guide you through the process of carving a design into a “lino block” and using the block to imprint your design onto greeting cards. You’ll leave with a beautiful set of six cards and the printing block you create that can be reused for printing more cards, gifts, and more! This workshop is introductory and open to participants of all experience levels. Registration cost includes tools, materials, and instruction. Event Details: Participants ages 13 and up are welcome to register (13-16 must be accompanied by an *****). Attire/preparation details: participants will be working with ink. It’s advised that individuals not wear jewelry and wear clothing that can get ink on them. Please provide us with the info of each individual attending if you are registering more than one person. Street parking around Emerge is monitored Mon-Sat 9am-6pm. You can park for two hours free. The parking garage across from Emerge is 2 hours free and $1/hr thereafter.
