Honoring Native Heritage Traditional Pow Wow 2017

Michigan’s Heritage Park and the Muskegon Museum of Art have partnered together to bring back the Honoring Native Heritage Traditional Pow Wow for it’s 2nd season! In addition to the traditional Pow Wow, vendors and craft booths will be open for visitors to explore plus artifacts from the Lakeshore Museum Center’s collection that compliments the Muskegon Museum of Art’s upcoming exhibit: Edward Curtis The North American Indian. Doors Open at 10:00am on the both days. General Admission: Adults and Teens- $10 Seniors- $8 Youth- $5 Infants and Toddlers- FREE Drummers and Dancers- FREE **General Admission includes admittance into the Park and the Pow Wow. Camping is available for drummers, dancers, and traders. While we realize many Pow Wows offer free admission, this event is a bit different. Michigan’s Heritage Park is a living history park with a half mile paved trail through the woods with interactive stops along the way. Pow Wow attendees will have full access to all of the amenities and activities at Michigan’s Heritage Park, so normal park admission will be charged. Participants of the Pow Wow will be able to attend for FREE. Youth participants are allowed one parent/guardian free to accompany them.
