NEW TO THE PRACTICE OF YOGA? NOT SURE WHERE TO START? OR JUST WANT TO UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE BASIC POSES?
Let this be your first yoga class! In this workshop we will demystify 15 of the basic poses in yoga, including the warrior poses, downward dog, and cobra pose, with the intention of understanding alignment, transitions, and terminology.
Participants will discover how to incorporate props in order to enhance the poses. We will also go over some of the basic breath-work practices generally used in yoga and there will be ample opportunity for discussion and dialogue so that participants are prepared to choose which yoga classes are the best fit for them.
