Jazz Heritage Series featuring Peter Bernstein, Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, Thursday, 05. March 2020

Join the Airmen of Note for the Jazz Heritage Series featuring jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein. This performance will feature original jazz compositions for big band and guitar.
This concert it FREE and open to the public, tickets required.
Ticket​s will be available starting February 5, 2020 at 8 a.m.
All unclaimed seats will be released to non-ticket holders 15 minutes prior to the performance. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. FREE parking in the garage across the street from the performance hall.

at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus.

Jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein has been a part of the jazz scene in New York and abroad since 1989. During that time he has participated in numerous recordings and performances with musicians from all generations. As a leader, Peter has released nine albums and a DVD. As a sideman Peter has appeared in groups led by Sonny Rollins, Bobby Hutcherson, George Coleman, Lou Donaldson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Fathead Newman, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Diana Krall, Lee Konitz, Jimmy Cobb and many more.

Current projects include his album, Monk, with Doug Weiss and Bill Stewart, a recently released solo record, Solo Guitar – Live at Smalls, and the highly acclaimed organ **** with organist Larry Goldings and drummer Bill Stewart.
