Kearsley Scarecrow Festival 2016

The second Kearsley Scarecrow Festival will take place over two days this year. Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September from 10am until dusk both days. The Kearsley Festival Group are putting on the Kearsley Scarecrow Festival for the second year running to celebrate the community where we live and to bring together community groups, businesses, schools, local facilities, individuals and families as well as raising funds for our community. Last year there was 211 scarecrows on display and this year we hope to double the number of scarecrows in the area. We welcome visitors from far and wide to come and support the event. The event is family friendly and suitable for all ages. Event guides and maps will be available for purchase from two weeks before the event and on the day at various locations for £2. Follow the scarecrow trails around Kearsley ward taking photographs of your favourite scarecrows and join in the fun. There will be entertainment, food and refreshments available at various locations on the routes. Email for more information, an entry form if you are a local resident, business, schools, organistation, group or club or an event guide ahead of the festival (from September). All proceeds from this event will be ploughed back into the community. | Contact | Privacy | Terms
