Workshop Agenda 
Our youngest students start with  Scratch Jr courses. These courses use block-based programming to develop their fundamental programming concepts and problem solving skills.
Students dive into game development using Scratch's drag-and-drop coding system to learn computer science fundamentals: loops, variables, functions, conditionals, and event track centers around programming skills in game design: by the end of the course, students have designed and built their own complex games in Scratch.

 Logistics & System Requirements
Parents are encouraged to be present with the Kids during this time specially if they are new to handling laptop or Ipads. You can use any version of the Ipad or any chromebook/laptop is available. Please download Scratch Jr prior to start of the start of the program. Having two screen will help in not having to toggle between them.
There will be ample breaks and explanations and also hands on programming! 
At the end of the hour, kids will go away with their own program built like a jumping money through the trees or a laughing Kitty. The intended age-group is 6-10 years old.
