Kids in the Kitchen Summer Mini-Camp, Rock Island Hy-Vee, Wednesday, 10. July 2019

Join dietitian Chrissy for this two-day summer edition of Kids in the Kitchen!
Day 1 - Garden Fresh!
Wednesday, July 10th, 1-3 pm
Your kids will make three recipes inspired by the summer garden: Chocolate Zucchini Bread, Homemade Pickles and 1-Ingredient Watermelon Icees. Each child will take home a mini-loaf of the Chocolate Zucchini Bread and a mason jar of the Homemade Pickles. After the cooking fun, each child will get to decorate an apron to keep.
Day 2 - Cherry Crazy!
Thursday, July 11th, 1-3 pm
Your kids will make three recipes featuring Chrissy's Pick of the Month - Cherries! The recipes will include Fresh Cherry Crisp, Sweet Cherry Salsa and Cherry Mango Smoothies.
This mini-camp is for children going into Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
Cost: $30
Payment and registration are required prior to class.
Classes take place upstairs in our Club Room. Enter the store through the main entrance closest to Produce. Stairs and an elevator are available in the entryway. Please have children wear hair pulled back or bring a hair tie for food safety. Parents will be asked to complete a media and liability waiver prior to the first class.
