KODAK Film Factory Tour

Go behind the scenes with unprecedented access and experience the people and machines that create KODAK Film. Your journey starts in the late 1800’s with the invention of roll film and takes you inside the present-day billion-dollar infrastructure producing films for still photography, motion picture, and more! Anyone under the age of 18 is required to be accompanied by a responsible ***** 18 years or older. If you are accompanying a minor you need a ticket as well. You must contact cameraclub@kodak.com to inform us that your ticket is for an accompanied minor.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is free and available on the other side of West Ridge Road off Primrose Street. There is a signal light and crosswalk on the west end leading to the main entrance with the marquee.   What can I bring into the event? No professional recording equipment is allowed at any time and anything captured is for personal use only. Do to the sensitive equipment and materials, you are forbidden from bringing electronic devices into certain areas. You will be notified of this during the tour and there will be a place for you to leave these personal items. What should I wear to the event? You will be touring in clean-room environments. You MUST wear closed toe shoes and clothing appropriate to wear under clean-room coveralls. In certain areas you will be required to wear head and shoe covers, as well as beard covers. Failure to do so will restrict your ability to enter. What is it like inside the manufacturing areas? Please be advised, some areas have loud machinery and little to no light which can be disorienting for some people. You should not participate in this tour if affected by these conditions. Is the tour wheelchair accessible? The majority of the tour is wheelchair accessible with only a few exceptions. Guests in motorized wheelchairs or specialized strollers will need to use a collapsible manual wheelchair for the duration of the tour. Additionally, guests will need to be able to ascend and descend three steps of the tour bus at least two times during the tour. Guests are required to notify Kodak three weeks in advance of the tour date by emailing cameraclub@kodak.com and adding a comment to your ticket registration.
