M-POD Classroom Training, San Bernardino County Fire, Office of Emergency Services, Saturday, 21. September 2019

This training is ONLY being provided to all affiliated San Bernardino County volunteer programs, Sheriff's and County employees.
All participants must bring their valid CERT, ECS or County identification card.
Developed in conjunction with Public Health Department’s Preparedness and Response Program (PRP), this is the required classroom instruction for San Bernardino County Fire OES CERT and ECS personnel to train personnel to staff and support PRP’s Medical Points Of Dispensing (MPOD) operations throughout the county during times where mass prophylaxis is needed.
This free training will consist of instructor led classroom training that is approximately two hours.
Participants will be required to complete a separate functional exercise that is conducted during Mass Vaccination Clinics (MVCs) held at actual MPOD locations in order to receive a certificate of training.
Personnel who complete both the classroom and exercise will be issued a certificate of training by OES and PRP that is valid for two years and will be listed as MPOD responders in time of emergency.
