Mastering the Art of Having Awkward Conversations with Parents, Atria at Villages of Windsor, Saturday, 13. July 2019

Participants will master strategies for safe and non-threatening ways to bring up sensitive topics with their parents (and siblings.) Some of the common topics that caregivers avoid discussing with parents, and seniors avoid talking about to their children, include death (or terminal illness), end-of-life planning, money and financial security, driving, moving, and health. Lunch with local experts on aging and caregiving topics, tour of Atria facility and gift bag included in registration.
