Medicolegal Death Investigation Intermediate Training Course 2020 (September 21-24), Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, Monday, 21. September 2020

Participants must have completed our 3-day basic course as this course builds on previously learned knowledge. This program provides basic training for Medicolegal Death Investigators, Coroners, Medical Examiners, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics/EMT, Physicians, Nurses, Attorneys, Forensic Scientists, Funeral Directors and Embalmers. If you have any questions about whether you qualify, please contact Joseph Stopak ( before registering. This unique 4-day course (1.5 days lecture,2.5 days activities) covers specific scene types and advanced forensic investigations techniques not covered in the basic course. Attendees will apply combined knowledge gained through the basic and intermediate courses while participating in new mock scene and other hands-on activities.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint provider ship of Case Western University School of Medicine and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 
The ABMDI accepts continuing education that is approved by the AMA, ANA, ABA, POST, and post secondary institutions recognized by national educational accrediting agencies.
CLE credits are available and pre-approved by the Ohio Supreme Court and sponsored by Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
The fee for this 3-day course is $400. Fee includes refreshments, lunches, course materials, and Continuing Education Credits.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and received three weeks before the course. The registration fee minus a $50 processing fee will be refunded after the course.
