Metro Christmas Tree Lighting 2018

Mayor David Briley cordially invites you to join the 2018 Metro Nashville Christmas Tree Lighting on the Public Square. This year’s ceremony will be a family-friendly winter celebration featuring performances by the Fisk Jubilee Singers, the Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church Choir, the Nashville Classical Pop Choir, and the Isaiah T. Creswell Middle School of the Arts Choir. Food will be available for purchase from local trucks. For this holiday event, we’re also partnering with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office to collect toys for the Last Minute Toy Store. All attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or other age-appropriate gift in the $10 – $25 price range for ages newborn to eighteen. The event will also feature a live broadcast from Mix 92.9 FM, along with appearances by Santa, Gnash, T-Rac and Booster. Those arriving by car will be able to utilize Nissan Stadium Parking Lots E and F for free public parking, starting at 4 p.m.
