Miami Vibes: Yoga + Wellness Panel Discussion , The Kampong, National Tropical Botanical Garden, Saturday, 27. April 2019

Join Miami Vibes on April 27 at 10:30am for a transformational journey into Health and Optimum Wellness with a special tropical yoga class led by Sam Reynolds at the Kampong botanical gardens in the heart of Coconut Grove. 
Sam Reynolds will guide you through a gentle morning flow inspired by the sounds of nature at the Kampong's covered outdoor studio. Q & A Panel Discussion to follow at 11:45AM with leaders in personal development sharing tools for transformation. Panel is moderated by Crystal Tejera of Miami VIbes Magazine.
Coffee and light bites will be provided by fair trade, Xol Coffee and Tea Company.

The Kampong is a stunning tropical sanctuary in the heart of Coconut Grove and is the former home of Dr. David Fairchild. This 9-acre property is a part of the non-profit, National Tropical Botanical Garden. Crystal Tejera has a passion for personal development and the practice of manifestation. She curates wellness content & partnerships for Miami Vibes Magazine. She’s a reflector by human design and enjoys sharing tools for transformation with those interested in up-leveling their vibes.
Sam Reynolds is an international yoga teacher based in Miami, FL. Her mission is to inspire peace, one breath at a time. Her goal is to help students find a healthy balance in life and create an inner journey towards freedom and empowerment. Sam offers classes, workshops, mentoring sessions, and retreats to facilitate transformation. She believes in the power of yoga and a healthy lifestyle to thrive with everyday living. After living abroad for 6 years, Sam never thought that her most significant trip would be the journey inward. She began practicing yoga after returning from Rwanda where she spent one year working with orphaned youth. She also worked in the Czech Republic for five years leading educational programs in 20th Century European history and Holocaust studies. Upon moving back to the US, she found a way to reconnect with herself and transformed her life to focus on wellness and healthy living. Sam is an advocate for conservation, human rights, education, and women’s empowerment. When she’s not teaching, she loves spending time in nature, photography, and plant-based living. Monica Reyes is a Life Strategist, an activist for compassion, speaker, and truth seeker born in NYC and living in Miami. Liz Nieves currently owns a Miami based Active Wear and Dance Wear Brand, ILOGEAR. Ilogear is manufactured locally and sold in 30 stores throughout the US, UK, Scotland, and Switzerland. She creates Activewear and Dancewear that inspires people to Move, Create, and Realize their Dreams. One of their initiatives is to bring awareness of the importance of Mindfullness in our lives. They feel that mental and emotional resiliency is needed more than ever today. People want to feel connected and social media while amazing has its dark side. Liz feels that shutting out negative comments, influences, and having true self-worth is now harder than ever, and through their gear they want to inspire people to go out and create a healthy lifestyle connected to the people and things that truly matter.
Judi Pasos, Transformational Subconscious Psychotherapist, is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified yoga instructor. She emigrated to Miami as a toddler and has been a Miami native ever since. She holds a BS and MS from the University of Miami. She believes that psychotherapy in conjunction with accessing the mind-body-spirit connection within individuals and relationships is the key to improving any situation. She has dedicated her career to healing trauma in the Miami community. Her passion lies in accessing the mind-body-spirit relationship to help people heal themselves and thus the relationships around them. She worked in community mental health, specifically in the Miami-Dade foster care system healing systemic trauma for several years. Simultaneously she taught yoga to groups, individuals, and families. She has since married the worlds of psychotherapy and yoga and this is where her unique perspective and style emerged. 
New Earth Therapy is a holistic spiritually-focused therapy process grounded in neuroscience, sub-conscious energy healing, traditional psychology and yoga. New Earth Therapy specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, and achieving divine self-worth through finding the authentic self. New Earth Therapy use traditional psychotherapy along with a vast range of tools that include Hypnotherapy, EMDR (eye-movement desensitization reprocessing therapy), yoga, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) dyadic therapy, meditation/mindfulness, & yoga. Admission includes a yoga class with Sam Reynolds, Miami Vibes panel discussion, and all-day entry to the Kampong Botanical Gardens until 4PM. Part of your ticket purchase benefits the non-profit, the Kampong. Please bring your own mat.
What are my parking options ?
Parking is FREE and adjacent to the main entry of the Kampong off Douglas Road. Please allow 5-10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the main entry.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. You can bring an electronic copy.
