About this Event
Being a birthworker is a calling, but being an entrepreneur is an art.
Each month, Kuluntu Reproductive Justice Center will be offering two webinars that will help you gain knowledge in order to improve your birthworking business operations. For each month, one topic will grow your expertise in working with specific groups of clientele, and the other topic will help you improve business operations.
During these 1 1/2-2 hour webinars, we will discuss such topics as using social media optimally, supporting survivors of sexual assault, incorporating reproductive justice into birthwork, and more.
Currently scheduled webinars:
- May 14, 11am: finding clients in COVID-19
- May 27, 1pm: LGBTQI inclusion in birthwork panel
- June 11, 1pm: using social media for your business
As later dates are confirmed, the event will be updated.
All Minding My Birthing Business webinars are Pay What You Can. The suggested donation for one webinar is $20, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Monies collected will be paid to facilitators, panelists, and organizers for their labor.
