OAPA Campus Planning Mobile Workshop, Various locations in downtown Portland, Friday, 27. September 2019

Mobile Workshop, 10:30am–4pm
Join Oregon APA for a mobile workshop focused on campus planning. Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Portland State University (PSU) are major activity hubs for employment, education, research, and health care in central Portland. Like the city itself, these institutions are growing and adapting to meet the needs of the community. Campus planning and institutional development are driven by organizational missions, and space, facility, and operational needs.
This multi-modal mobile workshop will provide an experiential perspective of the challenges faced and innovations achieved in the unique urban environments of OHSU’s and PSU’s campus locations – Marquam Hill, South Waterfront, and Downtown Portland.
Topics will include ADA accessibility, transportation demand management, institutional partnerships, new construction, public spaces, and pop-up interventions.

The mobile workshop will start and end in downtown Portland on the PSU Campus, and will include travel by shuttle to Marquam Hill, tram to OHSU South Waterfront, and MAX back to PSU, and walking.
All transportation will be ADA accessible and costs are included in the event registration.
Tour starting and ending locations will be provided upon registration.
Snacks and lunch are also included in the registration fee.

Happy Hour, 4:15–5:30pm, location coming soon!
The day will wrap up with a hosted happy hour, drinks courtesy of SRG Partnership, Inc.
