Okonomiyaki: Japanese Savory Pancakes, JUMP Share Studio, Thursday, 25. October 2018

Okonomiyaki is a traditional savory cabbage pancake, made to order with variations like crisp pork belly, seafood or vegetables, and piled high with bonito flakes and specialty sauces. In this hands on program, participants will learn how to make their own custom okonomiyaki and then we'll enjoy this shared meal together.
Beverages available for purchase. Ages 13 and up. Registration ends Tuesday, October 23rd.

When: Thursday, October 25th,  6:00 - 8:00PM.   
Where: JUMP Share Studio, located in the lobby. 
Cost: $40.00

 Rhett Atagi has been a working sushi chef across Boise over the past ten years. After living in Japan with Christy Beavers they started Genki Takoyaki, a Japanese dumpling food cart. Since 2015 they have expanded the scope of the business bringing a variety of Japanese street food to the Treasure Valley.
What inspires you?
"We are inspired by great food and people dedicated to their craft. The opportunity to travel has always been an exciting source of motivation as well. Of course we can't leave out the constant inspiration that we get from our darling baby boy Rio Archibald!"

What is JUMP?

When you participate in a program or activity at Jack's Urban Meeting Place, JUMP LLC, this Personal Release Statement is implied for the participant: I understand that the activities and services related to my participation may have an element of hazard or inherent danger and I take full responsibility for my actions and physical condition. I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless JUMP and its directors, officers, contractors and employees from any liability loss, cost or expense (including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees, medical and ambulance costs) that I may incur while participating in the activities. JUMP will not tolerate any unlawful use of copyright material. Liability for such unauthorized use shall rest solely with the producer. The participant further agrees to hold harmless JUMP for damages arising out of such claims. I assume the liability of and agree to compensate JUMP for any damages other than normal wear and tear of the facility and equipment. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You may bus, bike, drive, walk, skip, etc. Check Boise's bus schedule at . We love bikers and have bike racks to secure your ride. If you plan to drive, paid parking is available on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP parking garage or in Simplot's below ground parking garage, both accessible from the Myrtle Street entrance located between 11th and 9th Streets. Please note, the below ground parking garage is only available after 4PM until 6AM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Credit/debit cards accepted only. 

Do you have accommodations for people with disabilities?
Absolutely. We support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and encourage participation by everyone. If you require special accommodations to participate in our programs or to use our facilities, please view the JUMP Building Map to locate accessible parking spaces or call 208.639.6610 for additional information.
 
What is the refund policy?
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class so please plan your schedule carefully. Classes which do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. Refunds are issued in full if the class or program is cancelled, if you cancel at least seven days before the starting date of the class, or for documented medical reasons. Please email  request a refund. 

What about cancelled classes?
Please check our website  the hours of operation for any cancellations, you may also call the front desk at 208-639-6610. We will email registered participants and also post on our social media.
