Pocket Full of Fugues, St. David's Episcopal Church and School, Saturday, 28. March 2020

Ring around the rosy, a pocket full of… fugues. The LSO will explore the many ways a composer can write a fugue, including the master himself, J.S. Bach, with his brilliant Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor. The concert also includes a charming little fugue by Adolph Adam, a quadruple fugue by Hovhaness and concludes with the innovative Symphony No. 2 by Saint Saëns, treating the audience to more ingenious fugues.

Adam: Willis Fugue from Giselle
Bach (arr. Stokowski): Passacaglia & Fugue, BWV 582, C min.
Hovhaness: Prelude & Quadruple Fugue, Op.128
Saint-Saens: Symphony No. 2

Doors open at 7:30 PM and seating is open.
