Printmaking Workshop for Steamroller Print Project, JUMP Make Studio, Thursday, 27. September 2018

Get creative and connect with community with JUMP's Día de Muertos Steamroller Print Project. Join us for an introduction to techniques and strategies for exploring the expressive qualities of woodcut printmaking. You’ll learn cutting techniques on a 12" x 12" mdf block with a pre-designed calavera image, as well as strategies for how to design and transfer your own image to a block. Carving tools will be available to use or you are welcome to bring your own tools if you have them. You will leave with your hand carved block and multiple prints and we ask that you donate a second print to the Día de Muertos Steamroller Print Project event and celebration.  Ages 13 and up.
