Private Home School - Animal Life at Leu, Harry P Leu Gardens, Wednesday, 11. March 2020

Animal Life at Leu
Exclusively for "Creative Homeschooler" Home School families
March 11, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Harry P. Leu Gardens is a 50 acre oasis that is not only beautiful, but also provides a habitat for a large number of native (and maybe a few non-native) animal species.  In this class students will be challenged to consider just what vertebrate species have been spotted on the grounds through a fun interactive game.
Home School classes are priced for one ***** and up to two children to attend. The classes are primarily geared for 8 to 12 year olds.  (Younger children may attend but the parent should be prepared to help them with certain activities.) If you are not a member of "Creative Homeschoolers" and would like to be join the group on FaceBook.
Instructor:  Sandi Linn, Education Supervisor.
Prior to working at Leu Gardens, Sandi was the Director of Education at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, and then the Curator of Education at the Orange County Regional History Center.  She also worked for Insect Dicovery Lab - Florida.  She is the author of Invasive Species, a YA fictional novel incorporating real environmental concepts.
