Red sole shoes: from Louis XIV to Christian Louboutin, Online, Saturday, 12. December 2020
About this Event
The Art Workshops are intended to spark the curiosity of young audiences by offering a different understanding of Art.
Through an imaginative approach, the workshops provide children and teenagers aged 8 to 15 with a new perspective on some of the topics studied in school while allowing them to develop a sensitive, educated and reflective outlook on Art. More generally, the workshops will allow a rich appreciation of cultural and historical contexts as well as a deeper understanding of the costums and traditions of the periods encountered.
The Art Workshops are also open to parents!
Workshop 5: Red sole shoes: from Louis XIV to Christian Louboutin
Known as "the god of shoes" in the US, Christian Louboutin's red sole shoes have become a staple of French elegance. But did you know that long before him, it was "the Sun King" —namely Louis XIV — who set the trend of red sole shoes?
A Zoom link will be sent 2 days before the event.
