About this Event
The question is not if, but how racial injustice shows up in the nonprofit sector, but how and to what extent.
This monthly event is a space for social impact leaders who are interested in revolutionizing philanthropy to create real social justice. Instead of working inside of, and supporting oppressive systems, we can use philanthropy to work with stakeholders and create systemic change resulting in true equality.
It’s time to get uncomfortable folx. These will be difficult conversations. We have been complicit in supporting systemic patriarchy and racism. But in order to collaborate with our Black and Brown colleagues, we must look critically at the organizations we support through the lens of true equality. First, we identify where change is needed, and then we can take action.
