Rutgers Environmental Stewards 2020, Duke Farms, Tuesday, 28. January 2020

Anyone can become an Environmental Steward!
This program is designed to introduce non-scientists to the science behind important environmental issues affecting NJ. Stewards then give back to their own communities by helping to solve local environmental problems. If you have a passion for the environment, a desire to learn and a willingness to volunteer, then this program is for you!
Classes are taught by experts from Rutgers University and non-profit and government organizations. Field trips to environmentally significant sites around the state are included as part of the program.
Learn about:

Climate Change
Soil Health
Energy Conservation
Water Resource Protection

To become a certified Rutgers Environmental Steward, graduates of the class portion of the program complete a unique 60-hour volunteer internship of their choosing.
The program runs every Tuesday from January 28th to June 16th and one ticket covers all of the meeting dates.
Rutgers Cooperative Extension and Duke Farms have partnered in bringing the Rutgers Environmental Steward Program to participants since the Program’s inception. Classes are held at Duke Farms, 1112 Duke Parkway West, Hillsborough, NJ, Tuesdays from 10:00-1:00 PM, Late January – early June.
