Congratulations on being selected as your department's Patient Experience Champion.
At Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Patient Satisfaction Across Continuum of Care (PSACC) and Customer Experience Committee (CEC) is sponsoring  an exciting Patient Experience Champion Program to help all staff, regardless of role or classification, to contribute in the development of an excellent patient-centered culture.
The aim is to have at least one Patient Experience Champion in every unit or service area throughout the continuum of care. We want a framework which centers on helping staff to listen and learn from patients and each other. 
This monthly Patient Experience Champion Reunion will provide participants with information on current initiatives and projects geared towards improving patient and family experience, ongoing training and education, opportunities to interact with management and patient representatives, and peer presentations on best practices, lessons learned, and challenges on improving patient experience.
Today's reunion will feature a review of the Unit-Based Program and outline steps how you can apply the UBT Performance Improvement in your respective units. Information will be given on how you can participate in the SCVMC Wave 10 UBT Program.
