Taking care of yourself is hardwork and you shouldn’t do it alone, so come join us at SOCO Sessions on Thursday, February 28. Hear from three rockstar thought leaders about what you should put in your body + how to keep yourself physically and mentally fit.

Meet our hosts:


Kristen Ziesmer, MS, RDN, CSSD, LDN is a registered dietitian, board certified specialist in sports dietetics, certified weight management specialist and certified personal trainer. She founded Elite Nutrition & Performance in 2012 and works with athletes and active individuals to teach them how to fuel and train their bodies for optimal performance and health. She received her undergraduate degree in dietetics from University of Maryland and graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics from SUNY at Oneonta. You can find her at 

Gene Crawford is a long time Martial Artist with a Blackbelt in Karate, also a certified weightlifting and mobility coach. He has been training CrossFit for over 5 years, and various forms of Martial Arts for much longer. Currently professionally coaches at Workhorse Fitness and is an Instructor at the Karate Dojo in Columbia, SC.
Justina Siuba, MPH is the Stress Management Program Coordinator at the University of South Carolina. Justina currently provides wellness coaching and health education to the Carolina Community around various stress management strategies like, time management, improving sleep, and boundary setting. She is an advocate for mindfulness being more than just a practice, but also a lifestyle. Justina firmly believes self-care should be a non-negotiable part of everyone’s day.
