Often referred to as Thai Massage, Thai Yoga is a system of energetic healing that combines multiple techniques into a singular therapeutic session. It stems from a traditional form of healing within Thai Buddhist, Monastic & Ayurvedic Medicine. A practitioner learns how to skillfully apply these techniques using the whole body to treat the whole body, in order to help balance and uplift an individual while supporting physical and spiritual longevity & good health. These techniques include deep assisted stretches/yoga postures, palm pressure and thumb pressure along energy lines (meridians) and major muscles groups, decompression and remobilization techniques to all joints and the entire skeleton, among other unique somatic practices.

Once one knows a set sequence well, a session tends to resemble a lovely dance and flow among two people: one giving and one receiving. The intelligent body mechanics enable a practitioner to practice for a long time without damage to his or her body - especially good for massage therapists that often experience wear and tear to their bodies as well as Yoga Teachers that want to master the art of assisting in yoga poses.

Benefits of the practice include, for both practitioner & recipient:

Increased mobility and flexibility
Reduced Pain & Inflammation
Detoxification of Soft Tissue
Balanced Energy Lines (Meridians, Sen (Thai) Lines, Prana Nadis)
Enhanced Body Awareness
Stable, Relaxed Mind
Emotional Management
Releasing past trauma & stress patterns
Plus More!
