Stepping Out for the Homeless Fundraising Event, The National Press Club, Friday, 25. October 2019

The Coalition for the Homeless will host its 7th Annual Stepping® Out for the Homeless Fundraising Event. The event will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019, at the National Press Club in downtown Washington, DC. By supporting this event, you have the opportunity to help change the lives of men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness. 
This year, our fundraising efforts are focused on three of our transitional housing programs:

50th Street Family Program

Park Road House

Webster House

Your support will help raise funds for operating expenses and when individuals and families transition to permanent housing, we can provide financial assistance for rent/deposit/utilities, furniture and other basic needs.

People experiencing homelessness have suffered trauma due to substance abuse, health crises, job loss or domestic violence. The Coalition for the Homeless provides a safe and dignified environment for individuals and families to get through their crisis. The average length of stay in our transitional (temporary) housing program is 6 months. Clients have the opportunity to address emotional needs, receive case management, housing and employment placement assistance, and other supportive services. Our top three goals are to help individuals and families find permanent affordable housing, provide employment assistance, and advocate for affordable housing.

The National Press Club has hosted the most historic events in Washington, featuring U.S. presidents, kings, queens, prime ministers, members of Congress and influential leaders in business, entertainment, sport and society.

What Does my ticket Include?
Your ticket covers the buffet, soft drinks and a complimentary drink. 
 What is the dress code?
Semi Formal: For example, women can wear a cocktail dress and men,  a suit.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, you must be 21 years old to attend Stepping Out for the Homeless.

 What's the refund policy?
This is a fundraising event. No refunds are offered. 
 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, please check in at the registration desk. 
 Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
