The teenage years (13-24) feature some common developmental stressors including identity formation/sense of self, prioritizing peer relationships, and drawing new boundaries.  When a teenager experiences grief and trauma, the normal stress of this complex life stage combined with the stress of grief and trauma can easily overwhelm and cause dysregulation. In this 1.5 day workshop, you will gain a wealth of information and participate in experientials that explore the cognitive process of grief and the impact of trauma on the teenage brain. This workshop will cover interventions for both individual and group work.  Additionally, the workshop will provide a framework for running and facilitating effective teen groups.

Light Continental Breakfast will be served.
