The politics and intersections of Covid-19 -talk series, vol.1, online, Wednesday, 23. September 2020

This public online talk series hosted by the Centre for Gender Studies at Karlstad University is dedicated to discussing the various political, social and cultural dimensions of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Altogether 24 scholars will present their papers approaching the topic from critical and intersectional viewpoints, addressing the gendered, classed, and racialized aspects of the pandemic, its consequences and meanings.

After the presentations there will also be time for questions and comments from the participants.



The talk series is divided into two whole day events, each consisting of four 1,5 h sessions.

The first part takes place on the 23rd of September and

the second on the 28th of October.



All of the presentations are in English, and joining the talk series is free of charge.
